Has anyone ever used these, if so, what did you think of them?

Well from what I could find with my google-fu, they're these things but I see no reviews. I've never seen or heard of them before, but they're kinda cool!:

Yes that is what I was talking about, they seem cool, pretty expensive I think I saw them for like $13 but saw them on sale for like $5, but like RCIAG said there were no reviews.

When I first saw them I thought they were ornaments. Might be worth it to buy one just to see what it looks like.

You'd have to find the right application for them too, don't wanna hide them under a lampshade.

I actually have the pumpkin one that I won at a make and take raffle. 25W bulb so not overly bright. Don't know what I'll do with it as it needs to be in a ceiling fixture since it would be upside down in a standard lamp but I might be able to find a place for it.

The material of the outre shell looks exactly like the Dept 56 night lites with a bubble light at the top. I have a few of these and use them in my hallway as a nightlight. The light is soft and not over bearing.

Depending on how big the "fright lights" are, like a standard bulb? or night-lite sized? The night-lite sized gives off a decent amount, like mood lighting but not as bright as a bigger bulb obviously.

I think they are very pretty in person, and if you found a place to plug them into Im sure it would be a nice decorative adddition, but if its the large one I might go so far to say its similar to mood lighting, or the bulbs you get that are colored? Get one from walmart and thats probably a close representation of the lighting brightness you could expect.

I love my nitelights though. Heres a few examples , I have a pumpkin one and a skull with a lizard or snake on him.
