whats a big problem with any haunt.... <--- PARKING right
well our fire chief owns the drive-inn in brookville so what we decided to do was to play a different horror film on the big screen each weekend of the hayride and we load the wagons down by the snack bar, people can park and watch the movie or park and walk down and go for the ride then watch the movie after cause last year we just played the movie 2 times a night and switched it every weekend
it went pretty well last year and i was just wondering if anyone else has done this or what you guys think of our idea

I have always enjoyed Haunts that show movies while you wait. I think your take on it is great and if sucessful, go with it.

I think that's a marvelous idea, SPED74. It often gets boring sitting/standing around waiting for the hayride, and something to help pass the time would be great. Good luck

I remember going to the drive in movies as a kid. I think the last one I saw was Honey I shrunk the kids.lol. I haven't seen one in my area in years. Or in California for that matter.
All closed down. Kinda sad really...

That sounds like an awesome concept & takes care of two things at once- pre-entertainment & parking.

Cool idea. Drive-ins have been long gone in our area as well. More than anything, it's because modern cars simply aren't condusive to it. You can thank bucket seats. I don't know of many cars that would provide enough seating comfort for an hour and a half to two hours these days. Modern car developments killed the drive-in. Shame.
