heres a great idea for saving money for those much wanted and needed haunt props and supplys, create a haunt account.just start a savings or checking account at the bank.start saving your loose change and just throw it in a jar.after it fills up just deposit it into your account.this seriuosly adds up over a years time.everyone at my house helps me out.every day when they get home they just chunk it in the jar.ive got a bank card for the account so i can use it buy stuff over the net.i have yardsales to make some side money.that goes in the account.i sell unwanted stuff on craigs list.yep,in the account it goes.sometimes if i got a extra $10 or $20 i'll put it in.i try and not touch the account all year.by the time october arrives,i usually have a nice chunk of dough.i try and deposit every possible extra dime i can.kinda like a christmas account but my christmas always comes early...november 1rst.the day of the halloween sales!i hope this can help you too. foggy

Unfortunately, I still can't seem to get the balance up enough to buythose really nice props I'ld love...

This is how I budget the majority of Halloween, however, in a separate account

I did with my credit union! I would auto deduct a percentage of all my direct deposits. But with this economy lately, that had to be placed on hold...
A Halloween prop is a terrible thing to waste..

It really does add up! With the extra change I saved over last year, I was able to buy those LED Pillar Candles from Spirit I have wanted.

It's a great idea. I save all my tip money in a cookie jar. So far in 2011 I'v made just shy of $160.00
halloween is a super cool holiday.
