Up until last year, the one traditional element my haunt lacked was ghosts. Two crept in at the very last minute, and now I'm hooked. I have some fairly elaborate plans for additional phantoms in 2011, and want to see yours! Scary, cutesy, spooky, or friendly - doesn't matter, here's the place to show'em off.
These are mine:

Well, shoot, I don't have an FCG, but I do have a few ghosts, ghosties and specters!

Not ghosts, but one of my favorite picks!

If you can see the little ghosts under the trees in some of the pictures, those are my little ghosties that I love to hang by the dozens!

BlueFrog, I love the first pic! That is the most elegant ghost I've ever seen! Was it a mannequin?
IshWitch, the trailer full of skellies is hysterical !!
This is mine. I used to have a cheesy ghost windsock, but he didn't make it out in '10.

Thanks Lisa!
Hubby got the lawn tractor out to bring stuff up to the garage and it was brilliant! Lots easier than carrying a 30+ lb Bucky! But of course I did have to pose them.

Oooh, I'm lovin' all these ghosties! I really need to make a FCG of my very own. They are so cool, and these look amazing.
IshWitch, I bow before your skele collection!
lisa48317, I'm glad you like my mannequin ghost. She is a case of making lemonade out of lemons. I bought her from a wig store going out of business, and she was so brand new they'd barely had her out of the box and charged me accordingly. At the same time, I purchased a ton of fiberglass mannequin heads to use in storing masks; they were actually cheaper than styrofoam during this sale. Unfortunately, during the drive home they rubbed against her and she was covered in paint marks I couldn't remove no matter what I used. I was so angry with myself I could barely look at her, but when I finally focused on those partly formed limbs, inspiration struck. I masked off her original, highly detailed eyes and sprayed her flat white for the look you see in the picture. I love the end result far more than anything I could have done leaving her original finish intact.
At one point I even had her covered with GITD paint which created an amazing effect in total darkness, but which was wasted in my yard display - at night because of the bright street light, during the day because the yellowish green shade just looked weird.
As for your ghosties, which are lovely, I have to ask - was the placement of the "Please Use Other Door" sign intentional? With that guy as your enforcer, it's clear you mean what you say!
