Greetings,
I am new to the HF and thought I would share my haunt from this past year. I recently joined HF but have been looking at it for a while to get tips and advice. There are some really awesome haunters on here with great ideas and imaginative ideas. I posted a video and a link to a news story about my haunt. Anyway hope you enjoy and happy haunting!!

Welcome to the Halloween Forum! Great looking haunt. Love the grinning ghost and the magic mirror. Awesome video! Looks like everyone really enjoyed themselves.

There are other holidays besides Halloween? When did they start that?

Welcome to the forum!! For a newbie - I'd say you're ahead of the curve already! Really great job on your yard haunt, the busts, the tombstones.....everything looks really wonderful. Great mention in the local paper too - that's really fantastic. Can't wait to see your 2011 plans...

Nice work on the cemetery, I love the busts of the three guys, did you make those?
What I am going to need is your standard flame thrower...

Yes I made the busts. They are just wig heads with the chest made out of 2" foam. Ties just made out of paper and then some party hats all painted white. The bases are I think 4" PVC pipe.
I edited together the video using Sony Vegas Movie Studio. I filmed each person lying on the ground with big books on each side of their heads. The one on the right (the best one in my opinion) is my brother, the one in the middle is me (sorry I should have shaved but I didnt) and the last one is my Dad. My Dad actually suddenly passed away about two weeks after I filmed him doing his part. I know he doesn't have the words down perfect but if you knew my Dad he loved to entertain people and he would be happy to know he is still entertaining even though he is gone.
This year I plan on adding a larger gate section with pillars with lamps on top and also I hope to build an animatronic crow like Haunt1000 built to add to the cemetary.
Thanks for all the kind words.
