I was wondering if anyone has dreams of becoming famous with a Halloween prop? Like to have your name associated with a prop, ie. the Scott Axworthy Flying Ghost or to have a prop associated with you and its use spread around the globe like Doug Ferguson's Flying Crank Ghost. Both of these wonderful people shared their ideas with the world. Does anyone have a secret dream to affect the world of haunting as much? Just sitting here pondering.... I know I would like to come up with a awesome idea that would have a big impact.

There are other holidays besides Halloween? When did they start that?

With a name like" Terror Tom" you've already won 1/2 the battle!

I'm not much for the fame but I would like to be known/remembered as "The guy that scared the @#%! out of me!" with his props.... Lol!
A Halloween prop is a terrible thing to waste..
"The Many Faces of Fear!" New for 2012!

I have created , then built almost everything here at The Ravens grin Inn.
" Famous"only helps if it has ticket-buying patrons discovering and returning to eventually buy more tickets, so "famous" does have a good use, but "Famous" without enough money for adept bodyguards as in winning millions could be very detrimental to longevity and ordinary levels of "Happy".
I have large and small things unique to my haunt, some will never be copied by others , some will never be used by others because they require too much set-up, storytelling to be totally effective, something most haunts can't take the time to make work.
Someone "stealing" an idea of mine and displaying, using it many miles away is one thing but if someone is trying to become a household name in haunting and would be using my ideas to do this, that is a different thing, a thing I would not like at all.
"Borrowing" prop ideas is about like drawing a popular design on a tee-shirt, easy to copy and not worth paying a lawyer to go after someone as far as the dollar -returns would go(just spending $1,000s "on Principle" might have went out of style with the sad economony.)
I have had a great number of ideas zipping through my head ("Blessing or Curse?")and I have spent Alot of time building upon many of those ideas, not always successfully.
I have met many who never make the jump from brainstorming to hands-on-effort-given, and THAT is what the big world out there mostly sees and rewards.
I think being in just a state of creative thinking makes possibly a mental state of a "high" that actually must be ignored eventually to free ones self long enough to actually accomplish something. (Not talking about drugs either, they just fool people, equally ="0")"My Insanity is well-respected, until they wiggle free and become a stringer for a tabloid"
