If so, how? What have you done, what works, and what doesn't?
I was thinking about trying some fresh earth scent for the open graves. I like the idea of using this product, but I'm not sure how well it would work in the infamous Chicago winds. I'd also like some kind of floral scents for the graveside floral arrangements that don't smell like the typical chemical air fresheners. I know I could resort to incorporating some real cut flowers, but where's the fun in that?
No, I do not plan to include rotting corpse smell, thankyouverymuch.![]()

Have you tried scenting your fog?
I plan on selling some fog scent additives in late-March.
21 scents in all. At least 3 with a strong earthy smell.

Believe it or not, I have never used a fog machine in my haunt, although I do own one. I love the idea of using it to spread scent, and will definitely be checking out your products. Thanks!

My importing LOADS of corn and grain (the 'reed grass' was actually a wild rye...) coupled with the heavy rain last year actually added quite a bit of scent that almost made up for my fog machines all failing (thank you rain).
I'm interested in the fog scent idea as well...assuming I can get my machines working again...
(I believe it's the timers that are all fubar)

I've got a mini fridge that I stick a head in as a prop. I've thought of puttin some meat in there a week before Halloween so it can percolate and then when you open the door, the smell just comes out and smacks ya upside the head. I just can't find a volunteer to be the door opener

I tried a packet of Sinister Scents in the Graveyard (put on the ground) and in the queue line (on the ground). If it's windy at all you'll get nothing. But, had another packet in the haunt itself and it was great for the room it was in. So, I suggest using these for garage haunts or similar.
Perhaps the fog scents would be better for outdoors.

Fog scents work both indoors and outdoors! Scent bags/packets only work well when they are placed in front of a fan to disperse the scent. Scent bags work, but they only work if the scent is dispersed in the direction of the person. Fog scent, works instantly - the scent is blasted everywhere, and fast.
The only downside to fog scents is that they "have" to be used in fog machines! If a haunter doesn't use fog machines they would have to rely on those Sinister's scent bags.
I haven't decided whether I will make scent bags or not BECAUSE I think haunters can get the same effect and for a lot less...using incense!

I just picked up some of dark candle's halloween/graveyard scents, im gonna test them out and then might end up using them this year. I really like the idea of adding scents since it can create such strong memories.
Hello, I want my book. Bonjour, je veux mon livre.
