I have a tall slim one that has orange lights with some of the lights being covered in pumpkins or ghosts. But I just bought a new 7.5' black tree with orange lights.

Can you guys post photos of your trees. Also does anyone know a great place to buy ornaments?

I picked up a couple at Spirit a few years ago...black wire, orange lights.

As for ornaments, we just use stuff from Michaels and the dollar store. But if ya wat "fancy" ones, try Modern Display in Salt Lake City and the year-round Christmas store in Lincoln on the Oregon coast

eBay is a great source for ornaments from the Old World Christmas and Dept. 56 lines, both of which have some great Halloween-themed pieces including garlic cloves (OWC) and eyeballs (Dept. 56).

Although I'm having a terrible time with their web site tonight, try European Imports, which is an amazing brick and mortar store I am insanely lucky to live near. They also sell on the web, and they actually discount most retired items so you can sometimes get incredibly lucky. Here's a direct link to their Old World Christmas ornament page, which may be of some use given what looks like server trouble on their end right now. I've also been amazingly lucky with their Dept. 56 merchandise. Don't forget to check the "Eddie's Extras" page for heavily discounted retired merchandise.

HGTV's Halloween section had some great ideas for making and decorating Halloween trees in one of their videos. I'll try to dig around when I have more time to find a more direct link, but it's a surprisingly good little section to browse for decorating ideas.

ETA: It was DIY Network's "Witch Crafts" http://www.diynetwork.com/videos/sca...ree/42022.html

My husband and I have a smaller Halloween tree that we put on one of our side tables. This year we finally bought some ornaments for it. We have a place not far from us called Peddlers Village. It has a lot of knick knacky stores, which is where we got the ornaments. Unfortunately the store we purchased from doesn't have anything on-line to order =/

They have amazing vintage style ornaments, which is what we stuck with. They're probably nicer then most of our Christmas ornaments! LOL! I've thought about getting a full sized Halloween tree...but I don't think the hubby is quite there yet.

    All in do time....

I have a black 4' tree with orange lights...

Last year I decorated my regular Christmas tree with a Halloween theme...

I made the tree skirt and most of the ornaments. I used orange and purple lights and spider webs for snow.
The rest of the pics can be found here...http://s225.photobucket.com/albums/d...20Tree%202009/
