I was just curious why there was no list of Halloween Yard Haunts. A list for Christmas yard lights is available at Planet Christmas so I was thinking...why not here? Or is there one that is shared and I just didn't see it? So many people here do private yard haunts, shouldn't there be a list we share? I would like to get some feed back about creating a list.

some may not want to share their exact location but i think a list would be awesome!!!

I agree, I think a list would be great. I do a yard Haunt and think it would be great to see how others do their house up. It's hard sometime to see professionals do a Haunter House and try to copy their ideas when all you have is a yard and garage to work with - some even less than that.

maybe a list with the haunters town and state, then a link to their profile where they can post pics of their haunts and you can contact them if you want to go visit?

cause if its just another thread it will get filled with pics and random chatter about the haunts.

What Planet Christmas does is have a list that someone creates and then if you want that list he will send you an excel file that has the URL's. This seems to be just for the people that have web sites but I was thinking it could be for anyone that wanted to submit. This list is just for that forum, so this list would be the same, only if you are a member of this forum.

It would be good to have webs as well as people that don't have sites with city and state a minimum, address if the people wanted to. I don't know why people wouldn't want address since they are putting up for people to see but each to their own. I am thinking, whatever info someone is comfortable submitting.

He keeps this updated from year to year, I guess on his own, and then people post this list to their sites. It is all private Christmas lights and it is very inspiring to see all the people doing stuff all over the world, other than just the professionals and some have "how to's".

I would be more than happy to create the list if people wanted to submit. Need to see if ok to do that here. don't want to break any rules.

I find it hard to tell where people are and drive by if their display is in my area.

City & State might be all right in large towns keeping the actual address out of it but smaller towns...?

Two words here.... THIEVES & VANDALS..... sorry to say that even I have too be cautious in my "Mayberry" type neighborhood. Kids will be kids and there's too much prank temptations to fight with my haunt...

I'll nip 'em in the bud ifn they come round here whitout a proper invite! And I am Mayberry!
