Target has all their Christmas extension cords at 30% off. BTW:

I was in Lowes yesterday and noticed that they were about out of artificial trees.

Something tells me it's going to be slim pickings on the after Christmas sales.

I too agree. There was much less product available this xmas season.... But then again, they did however start placing the xmas decor out in early sept....

I myself only try to score on green ext cords and flame flicker bulbs at the after xmas sales.

Scatter - Did you notice if outdoor timers were included in the sale?

oh hell yea flicker bulbs and flicker tea lights too.

oh also big lots had a bunch of the foot pedal type power extensions on sale.

Nope, wasn't looking for those. However, they moved the whole electrical cord display at mine to an endcap, so I assume the timers are there too.

I'm waiting for the Christmas count-down clocks to go on sale. Of course I want to hack it into a Halloween count-down clock.

I've noticed stores around me being scaled back on xmas holiday things. Tried to buy another animated reindeer like the same one I bought last year from Walmart. Went to two stores and both were totally sold out of all animated ones. Only a few of the static ones left (they were too small anyway). I really only want the head and motor so that I can make a two-headed creature for my carnival side show display (I never have had luck finding these kind of things at my resale shops--just bad timing maybe but not really worth my effort).

BTW I also went online to Walmart weeks ago and no luck finding these animated guys there either.

I would like to pick up some more strands of the colored globe LEDs Target had if I can find them. I think my local store still has some but imagine the picks could get slim quickly with 30% markdowns.

The lights aren't on sale...just the extension cords and stuff like that

not surprised that stores aren't stocking as much as last year

is it me or do they seem to stock less & less halloween stuff every year
