    Hello fellow HF family!
I have been spending quality time with my family and friends over the holiday but still have my one true holiday close to mind and heart(Halloween of course)! But I have been creating a few drawings for next seasons and plans for changes that I envision..

Anybody else using the holidays to brainstorm/plan ahead?? Lets here it HF! Share anything you have big and small!!

A Halloween prop is a terrible thing to waste..

I've already been busy on projects.
I had several props that I wanted to repair or upgrade before storing them away and that's done. I'm in the process of adding threaded rods on all my fence pillars to add some strength and allow me to add some toppers to them.
I'm also building 2 new pneumatic props that are just waiting for the parts to be delivered so I can finish the mechanisms. I soldered up my Kit-74 yesterday for some singing pumpkins but but I may put it to use early and try my hand at using it for Christmas lights.
Almost a month is already gone and so much to do!

Totally agree! I went through all my things and made a list of what I have and what I need for Halloween 2011. I am basically going to buy a ground fog machine...that I have been putting off now for a few seasons and more special effects to add to my haunt! I am also going to get a mask makers kit so I can make my own heads and put them in my haunt too!

I'v been trying to come up with some witch scenes but I'm having no luck. I suck at building things so that's really slowing me down.
halloween is a super cool holiday.

In a strange way, I always feel relieved about this time of year. I feel like starting to plan now gives me all this time and I'm on top of things... The panic doesn't usually set in until, oh... about February. ;-)

I'm just starting to really breathe again after Halloween. *LOL* I'll really kick in and start working come mid-January. I have LOTS of candles I want to get done and I can do those in the house while it is still cold. I have other projects for the cold months too, so after the holidays are over and the quiet kicks in I'll really start going again.
