Has any of you projects lead to a new and unexpected interest? I have spent the past year hitting garage sales looking for bottles for the witch’s kitchen. Now that another Halloween has past I find that I'm still fascinated with old bottles.

so many! looking for this or that at garage sales to thrift stores. i almost never went before. i have found amazing make up tutorials on youtube and some amazing dark artists out there. i find myself looking for more of those things through old threads. My grandmother collected old bottles and i can't seem to pass them up either!

Sort of. I've started mixing interests. I've taken my zombie design skills from haunting and tried applying them to glass sculpture [with dismal results so far, but there's some potential there]. I've taken my mold making and resin casting expriments from haunting and started tyring to cast some copies of sculptures I'd done in the past. I've been trying to get a scarecrow design on fused glass to work for over a year now. I swear i'm going to make that thing until i get it right--I don't care how tired of seeing it my art prof gets. I used my history degree to find some colonial american epitaphs for a friend's tombstones.
