Anyone else get depressed a week or so after the big day? The worst for me is from thanksgiving until Jan 1. In January....I start planning for next year.

What do you mean Halloween is over, it's never over!!! Never! (L)
Actually, I think we all get the blues here sometimes... Until next year!

I'm still buzzin from it! I keep looking at my pics and vids, reliving the moments. And I look at everyones pics and vids too. That's a lot of material to keep you busy- no time to get the blues! And I'm planning next year too. That always keeps my brain going. I think the longest stretch for me is spring and summer, when it's actully getting closer but feels so far away. Nothing good in the stores left. The new stuff is taking forever to be unvailed and for sale. Months of agony! If it weren't for this place, I think it would be much tougher. This place puts halloween in every day. Hey I think that's a great slogan- this place puts halloween in every day. I like it! And it's mine! Anyway, chin up- a year goes fast, very fast. Don't wish 'em away.

I can't say I am depressed. Though I am sad that I don't have any decorations up anymore, I know it gives me a whole new year to hopefully get a lot of things done with my hectic schedule. So all in all it just excites me for next year! Ill eat turkey, open christmas presents, be somewhere on easter and all the other holidays and will have fun till Halloween comes back around.

I must admit that I'm slightly depressed due to my packing away my props for another 9-10 months. Poor lil guys! All alone in them dark sealed shut boxes... But no worries as they never are forgotten! Gently tucked away for safe keeping and ready for the next big night out!
A Halloween prop is a terrible thing to waste..

I think alot of us do to some extent. I just love the season so much. I know technically its still Fall, and we still have afew leaves left and have had a couple of the warmer days, but for the most part its been really cold and even have had a day of spitting snow. Thats depressing. lol I leave our Spooky Town displayed in our basement and als have a couple of the Halloween decorations out, so I can always go downstairs and get a quick fix until it all rolls back around.
Plus, this place helps alot!

Yeah, there's a little bit of sadness having to put everything away, but I turn my attention to Thanksgiving & Xmas and that helps somewhat. Also leave a few things up in the laundry room in the basement to enjoy.

I hate seeing the clock on Halloween night when it is 7:30 and that is the time that I start to bum out. I had my party the weekend after and that kept me going and now I am just about finished putting things away for next year. It was the best Halloween to date and really enjoyed this year thanks to this forum. Looking forward to next year and since I made so much this year in props and stones the only thing I want to upgrade is lighting and window covers. I had to scrape off two of them and that wasn't fun.
Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing,Doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before

I'm not suffering this year, next year I'm only decorating the front of the house. My sons want a more relaxed Halloween 2011.
