Going through all of the pic/video/haunt threads from this year, and recalling the stuff posted in the months leading up to Halloween, I've come to the realization that this is one hugely talented group of people! The scenes, props, lighting, and soundtracks, are stuff a lot of Hollywood producers would appreciate. Some of the detail incorporated into your haunts is nothing short of amazing. It just gets better and better every year, and this year was without a doubt the best!
I'm also reading the TOT number threads and it seems as though overall there was a general upswing in the counts this year. Is it any wonder with the great stuff you all produce? Already there are threads about new things for next year, and there isn't any doubt 2011 will see the bar raised a few more notches! Kind of scary to see what you all will come up with for next Halloween!
For new and novice haunters, you can't ask for a better resource then Halloween Forum, so stick around and ask questions and learn from a lot of really talented, helpful and friendly people!

I agree, this place is so totally amazing! The members here constantly astound me with the props and set ups they create. I have to admit that I have "Borrowed" an idea or two for my display over the years and I think they really made my Haunted Pirate Ship house a great success.....!

This place is a hot spot for talented people dedicated their craft for sure. Everything I've seen here thus far is astounding. I think the tots who live nearby all our haunts and displays are very, very lucky and spoiled as all heck too! Here's to 2011 being even better!

Cheers to that brother. From my perspective, which is the photographic kind, it seems as if the entire community stepped it up. Its really beautiful stuff, and frankly I think I'll have no problem finding stuff to throw on the blog this year. lol

I agree with all of you, this IS the place to be. There is no doubt it takes time to "build" a following to your(our) haunts. I think it goes without saying that "if you build it, they will come" year after year. I think I can speak for all of everyone in that it only makes us want to out do ourselves and learn new things. And its all here!!

I have always been in awe of the talent on this forum. And it's not just the talent...it's the heart...the friendliness....the welcoming atmosphere. You guys are the best!!
