I finally got everything put away. I found items I had either forgotten about or didn't even know I had. It is nice to have my basement and garage back for normal daily use.
On to planning for next year already, like many of us

I know the feeling. I just put way my costumes and small props, but still have the large set pieces to breakdown and put away.

Sounds like us, I finally fisnished putting everything away yesterday ( or so I thought), barely got the stuff in the shed and closed the door....
then walked in the house and found a large prop sitting in the entryway that I missed ( guess I just got used to looking at it ). : )

We're the same way here too. Then every season I seem to bring home more. Just came home from buying the Thanksgiving dinner & I decided to take a minute & stop at the Goodwill store, that place is always jammed. I found 3 items for my Vampire Table next year but I promised myself after what I spent last week I would not buy another thing. Whew!! made it out of that aisle without that stuff in my hand!
Oh no what is that over there?..........I'm having trouble getting over there with all these people in the way & some kid is playing with it. Not even sure exactly what it is yet.....OH its this cute carriage & horse, perfect outdoor xmas decoration that can easily be converted to a halloween decoration too. Two birds with one stone.....oh man where is this gonna go in the garage??
How does a person decide if he has to much stuff?
My answer to that question is: When he decorates every inch of space he has whether it be inside or out & has boxes of stuff still packed because he has no room to display them.
Oh God Thats me!

I just got all my indoor stuff put away yesterday & out to the garage this morning. Only took 2 new totes to capture it all. And now that it is all out there - I'm sure I'll find something that I missed - never fails!
I really looked at stuff & decided what I wanted to get rid of & it ended up only being a couple items. Ppfft. I need a bigger house so I can display it all!

We started taking down our set up yesterday (Right before the rains hit!). We got all of the fabric props and skeletons in the garage for now. The larger, wooden props will come down next week...
Now we have to get all of the storage boxes down from the attic to put everything away properly.
We added several new props this year, so I am going to have to get a few more Rubbermaid storage boxes for those.....

I am way over full also. I have decided that there is no way I can store everything anymore and am cleaning out and getting ready to convert my guest bedroom and bath into a permanent Halloween theme. It will be perfect for my guests to enjoy and for me to save a few bucks on a storage unit. Picking out paint and ordering new linens and whatnot's for my monster movie theme. Plus I ended up breaking my foot a week before Halloween this year and I feel like I didn't get it all out of my system. Bad break, still no weight bearing and strict orders not to be up more then a few minutes. I will post pics here in a month or so.

Can you really ever have too much? I think it just feels like that when you're putting away and pulling down out of the attic. But for some reason..when it's set up---it always looks like you could use more..LOL
We've had everything away for a few days....or so we keep thinking....stuff pops up in the oddest places....the laundry room...the pantry.....under the dining room table..LOL"Oh no, no," said the little Fly, "for I've often heard it said
