Just a heads up, fellow haunters - the Target stores here in middle Tennessee have the Halloween items at 75% discount, and the candy at 50% discount. Ironically, the store in Memphis that I tried to buy a display item from still had their items at 50% and 30% respectively this morning.

BTW, I scored the life-sized cottage witch I was trying to buy last night and two tombstone lifters today from a store here locally, all NIB, all 75% off.

Wish out Target actually had had something interesting this year. Didn't find a single thing I wanted, glad you got some good stuff.

75% here... got a pumpkin piggy bank $2.49, 5 heavy duty plastic glasses $0.74 each, this goofy little stuffed animated ghost $2.49, and a light up ghost for $4.99.

Crap! I forgot about the piggie bank.

I did pick up a bunch of the cheap plastic pumpkins for 25 cents each. (and of course several bags of candy... they still had tons left over)

I bought the Rocking Bat for $10 at 50% off. All the rest of the stuff was mainly costumes and cutesy type things.
I might go back and see if there's anything left at 75%. Last year the store aisle looked like a bomb had gone off by that time.

I had bought the giant pumpkin pillow and a throw two days before and they wouldn't let me take it back for the clearance difference, so I bought two new ones on clearance and returned the first two. But other than that they really had nothing, but fog juice.

I just got the frankenstien piggy bank for $2.50. I know it's cutsey but they would look cool on top of the cabbenits in the kitchen. I think I'll go back and get the rest for party favors for next year.
