I am curious how long some of you leave your displays after Halloween night. For me, I always get up early and the next morning and remove it all very quickly...usually to our garage. After that it typically takes me about a week to get everything boxed and stored away.

Sadly, because of thefts in the neighborhood, I broke down most of my more expensive things & brought them in the garage Halloween night. Since yesterday was nice I got the giant spiderweb off the gutters & lights off the trim, and dragged the rest of the stuff into the garage.
Now getting it packed up & put back in storage, that could take 'til ~at least Thanksgiving!Haunt to Live ... Live to Haunt

We set up on Halloween day and take everything down Halloween night. Just to afraid to get things ruined or stolen as it happened one year and I never got over it, like the saying goes Be Afraid..... Be Very Afraid lol! It is a lot of work doing it that way. I am having my party this Saturday so most of my props and tombstones are being incorporated into my decorating for the party.
Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing,Doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before

Same here.
There's still the blowmolds outside, the coffin is outside & a few other weatherproof things along with them, but for the most part, it's all sitting in my LR & office, waiting to be moved to the attic or basement. Some things are waiting for some new Rubbermaid containers, some to be given to Goodwill because I've outgrown it or gotten bored with it or just trashed because it''s beyond repair.Roger Clyne & the Peacemakers, the best damn little band you should be listening to!

Mine is still mostly up and probably will be for several days until I can get to it.

I leave it on until late on Halloween Night, then keep it going for atleast another day after. I have all of the large items removed now and will finish the last few breakdowns this weekend. It is a sad event, so I take my time

Normally I haul all the props inside the garage and at least break down and pile the graveyard by the garage on Halloween night. However, this year the graveyard got taken down this morning... unfortunately after the high winds yesterday took out part of the fence. It flew into a neighbor's yard and got some substantial damage. -_-

Late, late on halloween night. We've had people come the next day asking us which house was the Haunted house. We say, "Not for sure" and make them wonder.

I bring the more expensive/unusual things in that night then the next day put everything else away. Usually need to take a whole day to get it done.
