    Some of our first tombstones

    My Brother in Law

Our Monster in the box with a few additions

The next three pictures are me with the Monster Box

And the rest are self explanatory lol

I have learned my lessons for next year, number one I will bring a camera, number two i will take a video, and number three lighting is extremely important! lol

We took a tag team approach with the older TOT's, my Brother in law went out and would walk right behind them and pretty much guide them up the drive way. I would stand against the garage door and not move a muscle so that most of them wouldn't even notice me with "Jason" so close behind. After being terrified by the Monster Box and Jason they would come back down the walkway to the driveway where I was waiting for them.

It was awesome 99% of the TOT's thought I was just a prop so all I had to do was slightly tilt my head and it would scare them lol. We had a couple of the younger kids that got really scared just from the sight of us and when that happened we would turn away or dissapear behind the house while my Sister in law would go out and give them the candy so they didn't have to come near us or "Our Pet" (The Monster Box with the Werewolf inside).

There was one little boy dressed as Batman and he was really scared at first but his Dad told him to come and scare us, so he came up the drive and growled at my Brother in law who promptly ran away. The "batboy" then came over to me and growled and I cowered away. On their way home from TOTing, Batboy ran up the drive way and scared my Brother in law again then turned to me and tried the same. I bent down and did my most comical grunt back at him and he backed down the drive way growling and laughing. That kid was awesome and he was about 3 years old!

Our lighting wasn't the best but for the first attempt I think we did pretty good and we were the talk of the cul de sac. I think by the end of the night we had nearly as many parents come to look as we had TOTer's, and I know of at least 20 kids that came back a second and some a third time just to set off the Monster Box.

It was a lot of fun and I can't wait until next year!
