i was just wondering if any of you have displays set up in your home?
i've come to the conclusion, i have too much halloween stuff to pack and store.
got me thinking, why not set some of the stuff up year round.
i guess i'm lucky, cause i have the perfect location to do so. (my arcade)
so today i started transfering the decor from the lawn to the basement.
sohow many of you halloween nuts have halloween decor in the home year round. be it a candle stick, skull or much much worse.
i'd love to see pic's, i know i'm not the only halloween nut job.![]()

On my desk at work is a vase filled with black roses. A vampire picture hangs above my desk (I tell everyone its my father) and a lenticular of a pirate ship hangs behind my desk. It looks like a beautiful clipper ship until you walk by it and then the sails become tattered and ghostly!!!!!

i like old coin-op stuff, but then again i just like old wierd stuff in general.
i think for me, its more the thrill of the hunt and the knowledge aquired during the expedition.
i fix alot of these old broken items.(pinball, vintage pellet guns etc) ya get em a lot cheaper if they don't work.
i like visiting garage sales, antique stores etc. and i enjoy restoring old items.
this room is always changing though. i like to barter, and as quick as some things appear, they also vanish just as quickly.
a lot of em are working projects.
i had planned on painting a tonne of side show type posters for the room. i managed one. lol
i did paint it from memory, but i had seen the image somewhere before. (no idea where)

That is an awesome arcade! Great collection both of games and Halloween stuff.
I keep some favored Halloween items out inside year round (changing portraits in nice frames, sculpted busts, severed limbs) alongside my usual horror toys/figures/sculptures collection and sideshow oddities type stuff.

We keep out a few busts, small skeletons, skulls, and tombstones, among other things. I've always had some decorations out all year and when my girlfriend moved in she just got warped to match me. We also have a small black xmas tree that sits in the kitchen at xmas time. And she lets me hang some skeleton garland on the big tree.
