Thread: I got robbed last night!

I was outside putting away the tombstones and taking down the fence. I walked around to the front of the house and 2 of my light up skulls on a string were gone. There were there last night when I went to bed. I hate thieves!!! I guess they were waiting till after Halloween to steal them. I should have taken them in Halloween night. I guess I'm gonna have to setup the day of Halloween from now on and tear it all day that night before I go to bed. I hate that though. I like to build the display all month long and add things throughout the month. I dunno. Just kinda sad. They weren't anything special but I've had them for about 11 years.

That sucks, but it happens.
I take my expensive stuff down around 10pm Halloween night.
The rest gets taken down the next day.

Sorry to hear of this...you shouldn't have to adapt because someone has 'fast fingers'!
Sometimes I think Saudi has the right idea...steal and get ya hands chopped off.

People work hard to put food on the table, pay the bills, have cars and Motorbikes, go on holiday etc, then along comes some scrote with nothing better to do than take what isn't theirs.

It really annoys me.

That sucks! I hate anyone taking my stuff. It's not your's don't touch! It's really not a hard concept.

Sorry for your loss. Even tho not expensive, still has meaning and it was yours even if it cost a quarter.

You'd think the parents would react to kids bringing things home! I mean who gives away skulls on Halloween? Sorry for your loss.

Thanks to all for the support. I should have taken in everything that night. I've had things stolen the last 3 years. Maybe it's the neighborhood? Nobody bothers anything but my Halloween decorations! I have left other stuff out like ladders, tools, and lawn care stuff and nothing gets bothered. I just don't get it. Well I guess it's time to invest in a security camera to catch the creeps.

Sorry to hear. That's why I put up my entire display Halloween day and take it all in at the end of the night. It's not easy but it's the only to keep things from walking away.
