The biggest surprise Sunday was how difficult it was to control the flow into my garage haunt. This was the first year I've ever had a walkthrough. We had dozens of people crowding around at times. It was a bit overwhelming.
I was hoping to get some good ideas for avoiding this next year. How many TOTers do you typically let in at one time? Do you use fencing, rope, tunnels, etc. to make the line move easier?
Also, I was amazed at how many people wanted to bring their dogs and strollers through. I had some difficult talks with parents who were upset they couldn't bring their double wide strollers through my small haunt.
Thanks in advance!

I know many people funnel their tots through one small entrance and have a "bouncer" at the entrance letting only small groups in
They also place the rules on signs before the entrance
ex. For everyone's safety, please leave your dogs and stollers outside
If the rules are violated the bouncer doesn't let them inDarkness has a hunger that's insatiable
And lightness has a call that's hard to hear- E.A. Saliers

I had a 14 yr old girl serving as my bouncer....things ran great...the crowd was civilized and everyone waited their turn.
I lay ropelight on the ground to mark the path and everyone seemed to respect that
