For those of you into PC gaming I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread on perfect games for the Halloween season. Like most people here I'm a big horror fan and I still watch all the horror I can on Halloween but in the days before Halloween I always like to get into some good horror games.
Here's two games I think are perfect for this time of the year and they have that Halloween feel to them.
Stubbs The Zombie, 2005: In this game you play as a Zombie and of course you eat human brains, turning humans into Zombies. I would actually call this game comedy horror, its very funny and gory at the same time, a little like Return of the Living Dead. It takes place during 1959 and features some old 50 tunes for the soundtrack along with Mr. Sandman heard in the movie Halloween II. The game is way to short but worth it for Halloween.
Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines, 2004: This is a RPG were you play as a vampire, I'll just give the description on the back of the case. "As a recently sired Vampire, you must traverse the dark world of modern day Los Angeles-from raver clubs and the secret underground caverns of Downtown to seedy hotels and exclusive mansions on Hollywood's infamous sunset strip. Embark on a variety of story-driven quests as you explore an open world filled with side missions, multiple pathways and characters to interact with. Your's is a living world, even though you cease to be." This is one of my favorite all time games, its gothic and besides vampires you have werewolfs, ghosts, among other things. The bad, it has alot of bugs since the company that designed it, Trokia games, closed down and only two updates were released but if you can get past the problems its very addictive and in my opinion the perfect game for Halloween.
