I was just wondering if anyone has heard yet when Extreme Metal Racing for the Playstation-2 was going to be available to pre-order? The reason I am asking is that I want this game very badly because it looks so wicked, not to mention that it also will have an awesome death metal sountrack!
"If this isnt enough, an adult 18+ version is to be released later in the year with added Guitar Hero support. (USA fans can purchase this if they have a PAL enabled PS2, but the USA release proper is in the works also for later in the year)."
There's some confusion about which version of the game is out. The original came out Feb. 2nd of this year, but the full-on big kid version comes out in September? I haven't read a definite date-for-version anywhere yet, even Earache's site is a bit confusing on the matter.
Unless I am greatly nutso, Amazon already has a pre-order button for the game, as well as a number of other sites. So apparently it's pre-ordering now? But is that for the PAL version only? The 'pre-order' prices for the Sept. release version are close to $50, but the version out since Feb. is going for $20 or so? Hhm.
IGN posts a release for September, MSN has it as Sept. 1st, and Gamespot simply states 'Q3' (third quarter of) 2007.
I hate the sites all use the term pre-order, though, haha! You don't 'pre' order anything, you just order it, damnit! It'll get there when it gets there but you can't order BEFORE you order and pre-ordering would be just that! :-)
At any rate, you should be able to order, pre-order, mis-order, sub-order and so on, now.
