I just found out that BITY Mold Supply is having a sale to celebrate being in business for 5 years.

I noticed the following on sale on their shopping website.
Gel-10 2lb Kits on Sale for $36.00 instead of $44.00
Polytek PlatSil 71-20 Platinum Cure Silicone Rubber 2lb kit (I like this rubber)
Polyurethane 74-30 Mold Rubber 4lb kit
EasyFlo 60 Resin (Liquid Plastic) 3.8lb kit.

I didn't notice anything else on sale, but I might have missed something. I have used all of these products except the 74-30 and the nice thing is that they are all 1:1 products, (resin by volume, however the others 1:1 by weight or volume).

Does anybody know if $1.80 lb is good for Klean Klay? Or $77.00 for a 50lb box?

I just recently got a mailer and an Email from BITY Mold Supply that listed some other products on sale as well.

They still have the PlatSil Gel-10 Pint Kits on Sale for $36.00 as well as the PlatSil 71-20 Mold Rubber Pint Kits on Sale for $36.00.
They also dropped the price of Gallon Kits of Gel-10 to $236.00 (saving $22.00), as well as they dropped the Price of their EasyFlo 60 Resin (liquid plastic) to $98.00 (saving $15.00) and still have the Quart Kit of EasyFlo 60 on sale for $33.00 (saving $10).

I don't think there is a limit on how many of the kits you can purchase either.

I also noticed carry the newest Neill Gorton DVD's which I am thinking I'm going to need to order and watch myself. Plus they have some Make-up FX Hair Punching Needles which Mitch at BITY told me are very popular.

For those of you who don't know they are located in Richardson Texas (Dallas Metroplex) and have a great online webstore as well as a fun store, but I'm a little biased since I live so near by and have such great access to all the information from BITY. (Just got a lifecast done there last month, and hopefully I can attend some of their classes)

"NEW!!! PlatSil Gel-00 is a softer version of the already extremely popular PlatSil Gel-10 silicone rubber that feels fantastic at a Shore A of 00 and a Shore 00 of 30. Developed for the FX industry for theatrical prosthetics, lifecasting and for mold making applications. Translucent, Stretchy Platinum Silicone Skin Material.

Use for casting life-like appliances for special makeup effects. May be pigmented with silicone pigments and flocking (see additives).

Just like PlatSil Gel-10, Smith's Theatrical Prosthetic Deadener can be added as well, but at a lower levels, to create the real look and feel of natural skin and tissue.

PlatSil Gel-00 can be blended with PlatSil Gel-10 to achieve any hardness, using a Shore 00 scale, from a 0030 to a 0050. A 1:1 blend gets a Shore 00 reading of 0040. I got 30min demolds using different ratio blends, flawlessly.

Just giving you all a fair warning that the sale of PlatSil Gel-10 and EzFlo Liquid Plastic at BITY Mold Supply ends April 30th at Midnight. So get the discount while you can. I know Halloween is only 6 months away and if you need Gel-10 for that time of the year why not purchase it now and just store till then if you can get the savings now. I doubt this stuff will be on sale before Halloween.
