Ok, first I'm just passing along a deal I ran across, I have no financial interest in any aspect of this deal. That said...

I noticed several haunters in the past mentioned buying fog juice, machines, and other stuff from guitar center. Livingsocial (like groupon) has a deal going today for 50% off guitar center gift cards. Normally these deals are like a $20 card for $10. But these go up from $15 for $30 GC, to $50 for $100 There is some fine print you should read, like gift card expires mid November. Good online and at a list of B&M stores.
That sort of thing. If you are interested go to livingsocial and look at today's deal for Nashville (doesn't matter where you live). I have bought giftcards from them before for amazon $20 for $10, and redbox. Livingsocial deals become effective for redemption the next day after purchased (so they know how many, or takes that long to process that many credit cards?).

PS. I usually have my wife also buy one, since they typically limit the buy to 1 per person, but sometimes allow additional purchases as gifts. I mention this in case you want more than one. Link:
