Vintage Halloween

The quintessential Halloween broadcast. October 30, 1938. This show caused widespread panic. If you listen, and imagine yourself in 1938, not knowing this was a radio show because you didn't hear that part, you can imagine... it was brilliantly done.

Also, archive.org has a movie based on that night. "The Night America Trembled." It was made in the early 50s and for some reason they didn't bother costuming the cast for 1938. Ha! Still, it is totally worth the watch, especially if you're a WotW fan.
