I took the shoulder bolts out, removed the spring, then filed down all of the teeth in the locking mechanism. Put it back together as it was, minus the spring, and replaced the nut that came with it to a nylock nut so I could adjust the looseness, but still keep it secure. Same for the elbows. No heat gun needed. I also wanted to turn one of the legs slightly so I also detached one of the legs at the hip the same way, but left the knee and ankle intact. I tossed the bolt and everything in...

Yaaaaay for the 2017 Grandin Road thread. A few weeks back I got the skeleton crow in cage and 3 purple LED lights that were on sale. For the President's day sale I ordered another set of the hand-holding witches so that I can have a complete circle, the jumping spider and Henry. What was really nice was the ability to pay through paypal credit so on top of not being charged til July I then have an additional 6 months interest free. I also wanted to add the great experience I've had...

How did you loosen up the joints in the shoulders and elbows? I've got a pose-n-stay skelly I'm starting to try to transform into one of these gravediggers. Also did you have to change the position of any of the arm sections with a heat gun or anything like that? Thanks for any help!

I was commissioned to build a Faun costume for a local dance company's main theatrical dance Production this year. Here it is about 95% complete, I will add more hair and moss just before competition season starts. I have a breast plate and hoof boot covers nearly complete as well. I will post when done!

The pipe organ section is a fairly easy build. I made mine from scrap wood and PVC pipe. This is a topper for our piano and is designed to hold speakers in the base for stereo organ sound. That pipe addition should really dress up the Wurlitzer you have as a base! I can't wait to see how your project progresses! Eric

For years I thought angler fish were GINORMOUS, like great white shark size fish, but they're really not. The male is very small & parasitic to the female but they don't get really really big. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anglerfish Love yours & glad they live at the bottom of the ocean so we don't have to see them often.

It's the source of that purple glare at the top of the pic. Just one of those $10 walmart 24" blacklights, mounted on the wall above the bottles.

Daryl knew Carol would be lost completely as the human being he cared about if he told her about Glenn & Abraham. She'd just revert to her former feral state & be Badass Carol again & that's not what she needs right now. I have no doubt that she will be there when the crap hits the fan because she would willingly die trying to save her family, but right now he knew that news would break her & he doesn't want to see that. Pookie knows his Carol better than anyone else.;)

I'm just glad this Slaves to the Saviours story line is being discontinued. This new lot of survivors don't come across as hardened as our gang, but time will tell. "We take, we don't bother"...what the H is that supposed to mean? I'm hoping Carol will be back soon, if only to defend the family in Alexandria when the poo hits the fan. That woman is steel to the bone, so I'm not surprised Daryl lied to her about the deaths at the hands of the Saviours. He knows she'll be there with bells on...

Yeah, I tend to tackle one big project a year (and several smaller ones). I spent five months (on and off) on the first prop I ever built, http://wickedstone.com/Halloween/Jpeg/coffin_4_100_100.jpg It was built from scratch from lumber at Home Depot. I learned my lesson. I won't make that mistake again. At least with my Grim Organist, I'm starting with a Wurlitzer organ, http://wickedstone.com/Halloween/Jpeg/organ_16_100_100.jpg I could project an organist "hollusion" on scrim...

Well, I don't like the new group but they're most likely just Red Shirts for the body count when the crap hits the fan with the Saviors. I like their environs & it could be useful. I won't even get into the fact that the place doesn't actually exist in NoVA or the fact that it's probably 800 outside with 200% humidity (in NoVa AND in GA where they film) & they're wearing long leather coats & garb in a maze with zero air circulation. IRL you'd probably pass out from dehydration wearing that...

I am in the process of cleaning things out & moving stuff around, Goodwilling stuff & I'm hoping to find those stupid figurines. You can't just leave some things out though! Especially stuff for little kids. I buy stuff for my my aunt's grandkids throughout the year & I can't just leave that stuff sitting around. They come to our house & the little boy just has to touch everything so if I left their stuff out they'd have zero presents for anything because he'd find them.

That's how good Death Studios masks are & that's how great dubya's set up is. I have that mask too & it's awesome. I don't do such awesome things with it like dubya, but they are top quality at fairly affordable prices.
