I just got a couple of battleswitch relays from lynxmotion, they plug in the servo controller board like a servo and can be programmed like a servo. You have to turn it on to make the relay energize and then when you want the event to end you have to turn the relay off. I think it works very well, especially if you're not running a lot of solenoids.
