Here are just a few more pictures of the build. I attached the prop to the lid using a custom made flat bar of steel, I welded a threaded rod nut used for extending threaded rod and then a clevis and I bolts with a plastic bushing purchased at Ace hardware, so that the prop would stay straight and pivot when the lid opened instead of staying the same position of the lid when it opened.
