I saw the ones at Walgreens today. They had 3 packages of 6 left for $5 ea, and a bin next to them full of singles for 2 for $3 (gee...I think I'd stick with the packages, thanks).

Here's my question though....they are RATED for 40 hours on the battery, which probably means less. The batteries are those flat li-ions. What keeps me from buying them and making a bunch of candles is replacing 20 of these things at each Halloween at $3-$4 per battery. I'm really wishing you could easily convert them to run off a couple rechargeable AAs. It's not like you don't have the room making those PVC candles.

I'm even cheaper than some others here and hate the idea of using batteries I can't recharge / use for other things throughout the year.
