I learned last year to start shopping Nov 1st for this Halloween. This allowed me to pick up a lot of stuff on sale and spread the cost out over the whole year as opposed to just 2 months. Glad I did because things got really tight this year as of late and I wouldn't have been able to do 1/2 of what I did if I had waited.
