My wedding anniversary is Halloween, and my birthday is exactly one week later.
I can get whatever I want and say it is an anniversary/b-day present!
My Dh obviously loves Halloween to get married on that day, but even he has threatened to "rein me in" some years... which is when I nod, smile, and then go get what it was I was planning on getting anyway.
I mean, it could be an early Christmas present, right?
(It does help that I do not spend money throughout the year on stuff like manicures, clothes, purses and shoes and the like. I am freaking thrifty and don't buy a whole lot of stuff for myself... which means more Halloween for me!)
