As with each of the other posts, I am very sorry for your loss. I'm not one to normally express this to people, especially those on a forum. But when I read your post I felt compelled to do so. I am a police officer, and on Oct. 30th 2001 my best friend died after receiving an injury in 9/11. Needless to say, Halloween just wasn’t the same. I also run a pro haunt and I refused to open for the last two nights of the season. It wasn’t until one of our actors presented me with this verse that I agreed to proceed. I’m not sure why, but it worked. We did honor him at the front door and took a collection for his family.

I only hope that these words give you the spirit to continue when you start feeling down.
