As far as hanging everything, I just stapled gunned it to the ceiling. You see, we're redoing that room and the roof is nothing more than some painted wood someone put up there previously. We actually JUST took down the camo netting this summer --- yes, that room was a forest for over 7 months.

I first stapled black weed mat, then stapled the camo netting (heavy - needed a lot of stapes).
Needless to say, when we took this stuff down, there were hundreds of staples in the ceiling, lol. All with little pieces of weed mat in them.

A few years ago we hung up the camo netting in our previous residence, but couldn't afford the luxury of a crappy ceiling that could be punctured like swiss cheese; so instead I put in some hooks. Just the screw in type and different spots and hung the net from that.

It worked well and held up better than I thought. So, staples or hooks.
