They're mason jars hanging by twine. I made some labels that said "Poison Apple Sundries Fairy Traps" (Poison Apple Sundries, Inc was the mock-company name I used on all my witch jars.

There were 3 or 4 jars and in one of them I had a small flicker light, so it looked like a 'caught' fairy. That one had a lid on it... others were just open topped.
