Hallorenescene - sometimes people from Florida are called crackers because in Florida's history, cattle ranching was huge, and the cowboys would drive their cattle from place to place using a big whip (that made a "crack" sound), so we're called crackers. Kind of like you might refer to someone as a Georgia peach.
