Hey Madame Turlock what a great idea to give your wedding dress a second life (or shall I say death...)!
It's kind of late, but I vote for the corpse bride too! This is a such rich character, you could add a bit of tragedy by imagining her waiting her man in vain 'til she died... Or this one, I've read it in a book, this his kind of legend or a spooky story:
"Ones upon a time (I always dreamed to write this!) there is a wedding reception in a big beautiful mansion, the just married young couple looks very elegant, they are gorgeous in their wedding costumes, especially the Bride. After a good celebration of this event, the lovely Bride have an idea to red letter this day: why not a big hide-and-seek played with all the guests? Everybody agree with enthusiasm, the game begins everyone go for a place to hide. The Bride decide to hide in the attic, where nobody will find her! She find a chest and go inside to bring to perfection her plan.
One after one the guest are found, the game is almost over : there is only one person who still hides somewhere in the mansion. Finally everybody tries to find the one who is definitely the winner of the game, but this will never happen...
Decades later, the Mansion is sold to a new owner. The brand new dwellers decide to clean up and empty the house from the all stuff that pull over their home. Finally they go to the attic and find a big heavy chest. "Maybe there is some treasuries from another time inhere?". The chest lid opens in a grind and let appear and old dried corpse in a wedding dress.
The chest locked up while the Bride was hiding and she died by suffocation while she desperately yelled for someone's help..."
(By the way you look wonderful in this dress!)
