Hey Wilbret, I wasn't trying to insult you or anyone living further south. Like I said, it was just a theory which I based on what I've heard from friends who have lived in the South. Not to mention the number of haunters here on the forum that have mentioned every now and again about someone who shows up in front of their house during set up or on Halloween day and make ignorant comments about how their favorite holiday is evil. I've lived in Chicago all my life and have never heard of churches that have some kind of sit-in on Halloween day, and I went to catholic school for 8 years. I also lived within very close proximity of five catholic churches and none did this either, but I've heard of more of this happening down south.
Anyhow, I haven't "accused" (as you put it) those living south of anything. I simply said that that haunters down south seem to have to deal with more ignorant people who try to push their religious beliefs on you. I didn't say that everyone who is religious and lives south is "backwards or more religious". Those are your words, not mine. I theorized there being a higher number of "those people" down there. You said that I painted everyone down there with the same brush. Try not to twist other people's words to benefit your own point of view.
