Making your own haunted ringtones..
Two ways to do this. manual, and premade.. Either way easy, just a few steps makes it a lil involved.. Note: this may not work for all phone types/companies, didn’t work for my sisters ATT phone..
Download Goldwave Audio Editor or lil older free version to do your audio editting.
1. Find the song/music you want to use..
2. Open Goldwave and import(load) the song.
3. Copy no more than abt 20-30 seconds of the song, and paste it into a new audio file.
4. Save it as either an .mp3 or .wma.
5. Using your cellphone, send any type of text message to your normal email account. You will prob have to spell everything out with the ABC function.. Can be anything in the msg.. Hello; email test; qwerty.. anything just to get the email address of your phone. When you recieve it, it'll be something like 1234567890@att.net, or @sprint.net, whatever your carrier is..
6. Using your email program, send the clipped song/music, new ringtone to your phone.. when your phone recieved the msg, save the clip.
7. Go into your phones setup, find the sound clip you just saved, assign that as your ringtone.
Thats it for the manaul way, much better as you can pick your music..
Premade way:
My kids use www.PhoneZoo.com it's a free service, relies on banners for support.. there are a lot of premade ringtones, Some REEEALLY funny.. You make an account, list your phone and company, scroll thru all the RT's they have, choose one, it's sent to your phone and you've got it.. Just like the manual way, it's free..
pass it around too, lots of others would like free ringiedingies.
