Will Elmer's work? Or does it dry too slow? Any Ideas would REALLY pump up my Halloween this year!!

I've been using the elmers glue and napkins on my blucky. So far it's looking decent. I've been working on this thing for like 3 weeks already! LOL (My baby is keeping me pretty occupied) I guess when I'm done I'll stain/paint it..which I will hopefully finish this weekend since hubby is taking our lil one to GA to visit his family for a few days!
