I posted this one a while ago so I'll just recap it for you all.
About 18 years ago when I was just newly married to my wife(about six years)we decided to go and visit Fort Washington on
the Potomac.Fort Washington overlooked the inlet from the Potomac River.During the Revoultionary War its cannons roared to stop the invading British. Its inhabitants included George Washington and Lafeyette.Anyhow it was a hot August day with no cloud in the sky.My wife and I saw a set of stairs that went down to a darkened area that looked like a storage area on display.Well it turned out to be the dungeon. As we decended down the steps we looked back & saw the sky turn a REAL dark hue, when we reached the bottom and looked around we could hear what sounded like a thunderstorm. We were down there less than 5 minutes so we turned and went back upstairs thinking we would be caught in a bad storm. When we got up to the top of the steps the ground was BONE dry, just as hot with not a cloud in the sky.Weird, huh?!
